Case Study -996 Turbo

At RS Motorwerks, not only do we work on all the models of Porsche®, but we own an ultra-low mile example of a 2001 996 twin turbo. This vehicle has been an invaluable test vehicle for performance modifications and accessories. We have performed a complete audio conversion so that an in-dash screen with full navigation is present. This conversion can be performed on any boxster or 996 with outstanding results.

It really updates the interior and offers the driver with the latest array of accessories along with a dual cupholder. Topped off with the passport SR7 detection system, this car is ready to go!

The engagement teeth on 2nd gear end up getting damaged due to improper alignment. An updated input shaft gear set has been developed to fix this complaint. While everyone else is replacing the transmission, we at RS Motorwerks are fixing the problem.
